Which of your cases makes you proudest of the result?
A successful result depends on diligent work and keen observation – traits of the profession. To prepare for a difficult motion, I reviewed hundreds of documents. I was rewarded for my diligence when I identified a single, seemingly innocuous sentence that solidified our client’s position.
What do you think the most important factor is in resolving a file?
Whether reviewing a file, communicating with counsel, or strategizing with a client, the importance of attention to detail cannot be overstated. Managing details but always appreciating the big picture, ensures practical, sensible solutions.
What’s the most valuable lesson that your professional experience has taught you?
While our clients reasonably expect strong, effective advocacy, it is equally important to be courteous and respectful with everyone we encounter. After all, our professionalism often is a factor in successful resolutions.
